Astrology is particularly bad, because a lot of the time it seems to be just dressed-up phrenology. If it's just fortune cookie-tier stuff to you, whatever, you do you.

Also, few things are more annoying in a casual conversation than someone being an asshole and saying "oh no you're just born wrong that's why you don't like me" when you call them out. Astrology is an easy way for people to do that.
