i had a relative with a muscle disorder that caused him a lot of pain that even crazy amounts of drugs wouldnt help. got an electro stim thing attached to his spine that would basically massage his back if he placed the battery up against it. pretty wild. had this little box attached to his hip that he let me poke, weird to just have it extend upwards so much like that under the skin. really improved his quality of life
