E.g.: Capitalism good, communism bad. How often has that lie been repeated in the imperial core, and has that repetition led to the catching-on of the truth? Imo, it's the context that makes all the difference, and I wonder what the specific context is if :reddit-logo: really is improving on China. Personally, I'm skeptical that it is, and feel like it's getting worse because much of the pushback that used to exist (like say a certain notorious leftist sub) is getting purged by the three-letter agency and capitalist owners of the platform.
