      It seems like it was supposed to be a typical red-herring deflection, but it doesn't work because it's talking about the same thing. So instead of "I'm not worried that my car won't start, because there's plenty of stuff to work on around the house anyway" it's like "I'm not worried that my car won't start, because I'm busy focusing on driving to work on time."
