      iirc they had some weird double down of defending the Taliban after the American pullout a few months back. they're mostly edgy teens with not much politics beyond 'we hate America'

        It's had a considerable drop in quality since around then imo, either it's gotten more popular so you get more shitposts from that, or there's an actual concerted effort being made to flood the sub with one dimensional shitposts that don't educate or appeal to a wider audience.
