DENVER (AP) — The man known as the “Unabomber” has been transferred to a federal prison medical facility in North Carolina after spending the past two decades in a federal Supermax prison in Colorado for a series of bombings targeting scientists.
i've had a taste of it before (the whole facility locked down for weeks) but i had an end date i just can't imagine how it would be if neverending. esp cause you get very, very little mental stimulation often no books or anything. and i think at ATX florence they only get tiny, mailbox windows and you can't even see the sky during the 1 hr you just stand around in what looks like a big, empty swimming pool indoors
solitary confinement for longer than a couple days is legit torture and they do that to those guys forever.
23 hours a day in a cell, one hour in a tiny concrete outdoor area that can only see sky.
