was on a rural farm that week, missed it

according to the one thing i saw she posted about a sexual assault from a high ranking party official so other women would feel like its okay to come forward since she could. 30 minutes later the tweet and her account is taken down and she disappears, then a few days later she gives what appears to be a scripted apology saying she made it up.

that could be totally wrong/inaccurate i got no clue, so whats up?

china may be socialist but it's also socially conservative - there are many conflicts between the young (i.e. liberal) and the old (i.e. the ones with the power). this controversy is probably another part of that battle.

why it's blown up internationally is because western media went ballistic and china followed by shutting it down. probably because they want to keep internal matters private. maybe it's being handled behind the scenes, maybe not. that's my take anyways.

in addition, if you see radlibs bring this up to show how "western governments/societies" are better on social issues, remind them about epstein. western govt.s have covered up much worse.

Not just that. Remember the doctor that sexually abused hundreds of US gymnasts?

That shit was uncovered this year, but the story just disappeared in a week or so. But hey, China bad, amirite?

        CW: Sexual violence

The USA gymnastics team should not have been able to compete under the US flag. The punishment against Russia for state sanctioned doping is apparently harsher than that of state sanctioned rape in US gymnastics.
