MOSCOW—Russia’s national elections commission on Tuesday registered Nikolai Kharitonov, candidate of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, to challenge President Vladimir Putin in the March election. Kharitonov, 75, joins two other candidates who were approved to run last week.
He might get a bigger part of the electorate this time. He's supposed to be better than the previous candidates. That might net the party more support down the line.
But only if Putin is unpopular which he is not at the moment, maybe he can steal a few boomer voters from the socdems and nationalists but i dont think united russia will lose many seats if any
They may. We'll see. I still expect a better performance, which could lead to more goodwill later on.
The more they talk about collective farming instead of Putin's reddit cancel culture shit I think they will grow strong
But also he is definitely pandering with that shit it's not really out of the blue
