Joan Hinton was a nuclear physicist and one of the few women scientists who worked for the Manhattan Project in Los Alamos. She moved to the PRC after seeing the US drop the atomic bombs in Japan.
The man speaking in the video is her son. He was born and raised in China and speaks English with a Chinese accent, very cool dude.
