    Honestly I can't even be mad at this sort of person. Every level of society has told them "COVID is over" for, what, 3 years? It's not unreasonable to take that approach.

    Turbogulag for the authorities that said COVID is over.

      biobot.io is good for wastewater data

      The cdc covid data tracker is also good

      It looks like the current wave has peaked, hospitalizations haven’t come down yet, and deaths are staying relatively low. 2-4 more weeks before we return to ‘baseline’ would be my guess. We will see if we get an uptick though from this recent cold snap that doubtless drove people indoors

        What's driving me to madness is that because they kneecapped our data (like wastewater) so much, there's no real way to tell just how bad baseline is at this point. Not only is baseline like 3 times higher than it was a couple years ago but there's also random spikes we're seeing outside of the massive wave. So who knows what's happening in those many, many unmonitored counties that most of us live in.
