My cousins thought going shopping for deals the day after Xmas was worth it. Two old people in ICU and three of my cousins sick with covid, so far. No one wears masks and only my uncle is vaxxed. They got a 70" Sony OLED TV for $2400 though. Totally worth it putting both of their parents, my aunt and uncle in the hospital.
I live in Norway so there hasn't been too much covid around me, but we very recently adopted the "open up everything and let the plague sort them out" strategy, so it'll be interesting to see how that fares.
