My cousins thought going shopping for deals the day after Xmas was worth it. Two old people in ICU and three of my cousins sick with covid, so far. No one wears masks and only my uncle is vaxxed. They got a 70" Sony OLED TV for $2400 though. Totally worth it putting both of their parents, my aunt and uncle in the hospital.
grandfather, uncle both got covid and died.
My grandfather was pushing 90, already frail and in ill health - he had began developing lung cancer from years of smoking a pipe. He was either gone last year or this year, it was still hard to see him go but i guess most of my family was prepared for his passing. my uncle was an active man who played hockey and coached community sports games, at 40, covid brought him to his knees, destroyed his lung tissue forcing him into the hospital and onto a ventilator, where he was in a coma for 3-4 weeks before having a brain aneurysm and being declared brain dead. my aunt then decided to pull the cord and donate all the organs and tissue she could. both died before vaxxes were readily available in canada.
ive had 3 scares from my work, so far.
