I’m sure they’re developing a telemetry ridden app that “detects” covid from scanning your face. Soon you’ll be able to do it within 5 minutes like a pregnancy test

The isolation period for any contagious illness should not be 1 day... much less something as severe and contagious as covid.

I think it's time to create the betting pool for "which state will ban discussion of or reference to COVID". Seems like we're less than 12 months out from that

Health officials still recommend that people who test positive for COVID-19 wear a mask

But most Westernoids won't even do this, even if they get a positive test.

That’s insane lol. No one wants to be around a person with a cold until it’s completely gone yet you’re expected to just be fine with a guy hacking his lungs within 24 hours

In healthcare we still do 10 days. Any of my patients get covid, it’s 10 days of gowns, n95s, goggles or face shields, and gloves on and off constantly. The unit gets locked down to prevent crossover and if we reach a certain threshold we also have to start just gowning up permanently taking it off to see the noncovid ones that may be stuck there where otherwise a mask outside the room is adequate.

California health officials have shortened the COVID-19 isolation guidelines for those who test positive as the department aims to focus more on people who are the most at risk of severe illness

. . . by making sure there are fewer of us alive to deal with.
