Like if we had magic phantom zones and were bullet proof like Superman- killing Nazis would be bad because we have the option to disable them and exile safely.

I don't really know where I was going with my spiel tbh. I think I was focusing on your "taking care of them long term." Batman logic is just performing the strictly moral takedown but it's never about taking care of anything long term. Like batman logic would be tossing the nazi into a camp, not really caring that they all organize into a gang, then having to be an even bigger badass when they all get out organized and ready to go
