    The vaccine will have nasty side effects due to being fast tracked and anti-vaxxers will become very commonplace, causing the vaccine to be nonmandatory

    From me a year ago. Not too wrong, but the side effects are just your arm hurts for a day or two and that is considered nasty enough to be an antivaxxer :agony-shivering:

        pretty sure thats just an immune reaction. vaccine only gives you spike proteins in the same shape of covid, doesnt contain any covid at all

          But that's like saying "the fruit juice only gives you sugar, it doesn't contain any pepsi at all"

          The spike protein is what causes a majority of covid symptoms. It's just that the vaccine is safer because it doesn't have the opportunity to infinitely self replicate this spike protein like an actual virus does.

      I mean, the rare side effects to Astra Zenica did cause it to be restricted, which massively slowed vax in many places.
