Yeah, it is infuriating. "I am a leftist and I agree with the US govt..." "I am as far left as they come and I agree with (some generic right wing points eg. transphobia, etc.)" These comments will get thrown around a lot in online sphere. There isn't much we can do other than push back with facts about their govt lying and how the material conditions of the country on the other hand are affected by the war and occupation, or just outright ban them if you are a mod in which case you will get called a "red fash tankie" lmao.
