I used to be really into collecting games, but when it came time to move out I realized I had way too much stuff lol. I also didn't even want to play half the shit that I have, so I got rid of a lot of it. I probably buy a couple games a year now, but if it's a console game I'd much prefer it to be a physical copy

I'm sure that I'm in the minority here, but for JRPGs in particular I think I'll always want a physical copy. Last year I bought 13 Sentinels, SMT Nocturne, and SMT V. I wish physical copies for PS2 era games weren't so ridiculously expensive, cause there are a lot of hidden gems I never played. I can emulate them, but I want the cool box too 😞

I make fightsticks sometimes just because I do want something physical and chunky that I can put stickers all over. All the games I play now are digital or emulated.

I own a few physical games, but they're entirely decorative and I don't play them. Just a few games that are important to me, like I've got an Earthbound cartridge, some Genesis and Saturn games, some Gameboy, a couple of rarer neogeo games, a few PS1 and 2 titles. I have a wonderswan too that just sits around. I have a couple of controllers for consoles I don't have too.

I've been thinking about gutting the insides of a Dreamcast, putting in some compact PC parts and making it into a little media station full of movies and games. Put some USB ports on the front for controllers, maybe connect it to a projector. Wanted to do that for a while.

I like to display stuff in my home. I have a need to put lights and stuff everywhere.
