I used to be really into collecting games, but when it came time to move out I realized I had way too much stuff lol. I also didn't even want to play half the shit that I have, so I got rid of a lot of it. I probably buy a couple games a year now, but if it's a console game I'd much prefer it to be a physical copy

I'm sure that I'm in the minority here, but for JRPGs in particular I think I'll always want a physical copy. Last year I bought 13 Sentinels, SMT Nocturne, and SMT V. I wish physical copies for PS2 era games weren't so ridiculously expensive, cause there are a lot of hidden gems I never played. I can emulate them, but I want the cool box too 😞

    I'd imagine you can burn an iso to a CD and buy an empty box online. Maybe even just buy a blank reproduction case and have the cover printed at a print shop.

    I got a cover print of a game I got used from GameStop (in one of those shitty replacement cases GameStop uses) and it turned out pretty good (well, I think I didn't quite choose the right cardstock, but it works). They even folded it for me.
