I truly wonder if there is anybody at the top that can/will actually pull the breaks on something happening. Recent events give me the vibe that we may just bumble along assuming something bad won't happen and when it does nobody will be able to stop it.
The German is the only one that could negotiate with the Russian here since they have quite investment on Russian oil. The west are slowly turning against German for their recent action
