I think the elections will be one of few things for the dems: a bad loss, a horrible loss, a bloodbath or a fucking nightmare bloodbath. My hunch is that it will be a bloodbath. In any case the worse the loss - the greater the chance that Biden and the dems change their messaging towards solving what they consider "problems". My hunch is that they'll go tough on crime and they'll start to push hard for charter schools to - of course - break teacher's unions.
I can imagine Biden in the election aftermath saying - "For so long we haven't addressed a growing problem in our country... Crime." And he'll say "We gotta improve things for everyone. A way to do that would be to have more charter schools." And then all the shit he says becomes talking points for dems all across the country.
