These are Vostok watches, a Russian company I like because they’re cheaper than comparable watches in the US. Each of these have different things I like. I prefer the red star, the green face, and the numbers from the black one. The scuba dude is there as a wild card because he’s pretty popular.
I'd prefer the green face. It's got the cool black dots to red dots on the rim, a red star, the color green, and I kinda dislike the way that the bottom-left watch has a big border to frame the circular part of the watch unlike the other 3.
I like the green one too. Good compromise between being colorful without the fanciful script.
This just reminded me that my wife bought me a watch thinking it was vintage from the air force but when I got it I realized right away that the insignia was for the NKVD lol
Neutral colors are good. I’d go with the black.
I own a Steinhart “ocean one”. Identical specs to a Rolex submariner but way more affordable. I bought one after I graduated high school back in 2009. Still works and looks great today. Definitely worth it.
I like the green one. Its a kind of shape and shade that feels unabashedly euro-metro, like something a late soviet ambulance designer came up with in their spare time. The kind of thing lads and legends across terf isle might wear on the big night out drinking beer from very tall glasses and falling down on cobblestone corners. It's like something an ersatz bond character would wear in 1993 <-- An aesthetic free-association from a fevered USian brain
I'm actually liking the top left the most I think. I like the border dots and the blue on red contrast looks nice.
