I might be off base here but what are the chances the guy low-key wants to kill himself and this is the most convenient way he can find to be a "martyr" for a cause?
The hypothesis that conservatives are subconsciously suicidal because they inherently know that their lives are boring and worthless and shitty and built with the blood and bone and sinew of millions of people who are essentially slaves in developing countries is definitely a curious one. It's like the "all politics is sexual pathology" thing where like, it's probably not literally true but it's strange how often it lines up
