It's also baffling to me that such grand statements can be made about who you should and shouldn't work with when like... A large city will have maybe a handful of socialists in total. There are so few of us in America and even fewer taking part in orgs. There aren't enough of us to have petty sectarian differences and yet somehow here we are. Like when I hear "Don't work with Stalinists" they might as well be saying "Don't work with Sarah and Steve. They're not cool."

Which actually is how it works a lot of the time. Parties split over petty personal differences rather than anything meaningful.
