We shouldn't stop at student loan borrowers, though. Why not also people who have medical debt? What about predatory credit cards as well? The more people we include in a debt strike, the more powerful it will become. Also, unlike labor strikes, debt strikes seem relatively easy to do, as they don't result in the immediate loss of income. Quite the opposite, in fact. All you need to do is stop paying your bills. So, you'd think the idea of a national debt strike might be able to gain traction given the right conditions?
