i think weed should be legal but im also highly dubious it does anything for cancer. Just say you want to smoke weed for fun

I have a headache and one of my eyes hurts. I'm not a doctor but I've seen one on the teevee and I think it's glioblastoma. Weed can't hurt.

it doesn't hurt but it also does nothing for it. all the science on it is very dubious largely anecdotal cases of people who were also receiving other treatments and the more credible claims only say it can treat the nausea caused by chemotherapy.

I'm sorry to hear that I've had cancer myself but the notion it can be treated with canabis is dangerous misinformation

I thought the whole marijuana for cancer thing was explicitly to treat nausea and pain, not to actually cure the cancer.

Whether cannabis is helpful for treatment of any disease is irrelevant to whether it should be legal

I'm not that kind of doctor and I'm extremely not suggesting that people toke up instead of pursuing chemo- or radiotherapy, but there is some evidence that the endocannabinoid system has an effect on a number of diseases including cancer , so who knows, a decade or so of testing from now, we might see a handful of cannabinoids being used in clinical cancer treatments or treatments for other diseases.

Again, to anyone considering skipping their chemo appointment and getting spliffy, don't skip the appointment. This is just an interesting curiosity speculating about the future, not present medical advice.

My dad was fairly anti weed until he got cancer. It helped him immensely with pain. By the end he had to take fentnal patches but the topical lotions still seemed to help.
