"Many reasoned, outspoken and honest scientists have been making the point that Covid-19 is moving rapidly from a 'pandemic' … to an 'endemic' respiratory infection comparable to the common cold and flu,"

Yeah I know it probably won't fuck me up very much, but I have a coworker who has had two heart attacks and cancer in remission and my mom has an autoimmune disorder. Unlike you, I am able to consider the repercussions of my actions and that's why I haven't gotten to have fun in two years. Now, since my mom insists on giving you the choice, do you want to face the wall or face me? :xi-gun:

Never let liberals live it down that under Trump they were screaming their heads off about how dangerous covid is and now that daddy Biden is in charge it's just the flu bro.

Maybe I'm wornf about this but

Epidemic/Pandemic means exponential case growth, which so far describes every variant of COVID-19 we've seen.

Endemic means the growth rate is linear or lower (like colds, or the flu in most instances). COVID & Friends straight up don't meet the criteria for "endemic", and there's been no indication to suggest that's gonna change. Diseases don't just "become endemic" after some arbitrary amount of time passes. Smallpox spread as an epidemic right up until it was eliminated.

Looked at the dude and he's an occupational medical guy whose specific expertise is cardiac events within police officers and firefighters and sleep studies on truckers. No pandemic expertise. No respiratory expertise.

    What a fucking joke.

I worked for a surgeon millionaire who was a die hard Trump fan. Changed my entire perspective on doctors. Many only care about the money and elevated status in their bubbles. I quit because we had a disagreement on covid protocols and he didn't give a fuck. Turnaround in my position never lasted more than two years. Don't miss that psychopath.

Can't believe a capitalist mode of production would do this to a motherfucker.

I've got a cousin who works for Steven Hotze's quack medical clinic in Houston. It's the best job she's ever had, simply because Hotze doesn't pay total dog shit and keeps the clinic to a normal 40-hour work week. Dude's habit of being a virulent racist, shameless hack, and perennial blister on the ass of Texas's biggest turd party simply doesn't enter into it when all the other marketing firms and secretary jobs she's held are run by the same collection of fuckwads.

You really get a hard look at why this state is so toxic once you meet the people with all the money.

Draft him to staff a hospital emergency room during one of the complete normal "endemic" covid waves.

Some docs should do mandatory nursing time to get their heads out of their asses

A good society would strip these assholes of their credentials and have them imprisoned for spreading horseshit to get people to accept thousands of preventable deaths every day, coupled with millions left fucking disabled from long covid.
