Nah, they're strictly centralized on Valve's servers and don't require burning down the amazon rainforest every time they're traded.

NFTs are centralized anyway. They don't mean shit without a service like OpenSea.
For now. LG is building TVs with ETH wallets, Microsoft has a NFT app in the works for Xbox, and that's all the tech news I can bear to read this morning but you get the point. Trading digital hats will always be dumb, but hey, now you proudly display them while you're showing off your new flat screen to impress the neighbors.
