    That reminds me of a D&D trick I do sometimes but always feel bad about it.

    When I do the trick, I drop a bunch of things in a location with no specific lore in mind, but the players piece it together and tell me what's going on and I go with it.

      My friend does this lol. Never come up with a story, just get your players high and give them munchies and watch their minds get blown as you confirm all their suspicions are true with a small caveat

            I just happen to be the right kind of nerd to be interested, I really like Chronicles of Darkness stuff (well not Beast obviously). I'm actually hoping to run a WtF game for my family when one of my old players moves back home.

            That's a very interesting worldview for a mage, but even if you're right that makes you a scelestus technically, right? Sounds like you'd find yourself in conflict with other Mages pretty heavily, which I guess is good for keeping things interesting.
