Now there's been some discussion that Biden wins the EC but Trump wins the popular vote. So there's something called the interstate voting compact. It's an agreement among states that they will award their EC votes to whoever is the eventual popular vote winner, even if that candidate loses that state's vote. Its been signed into law by 16 states (all blue) including California, Oregon, Washington and DC. Can you imagine how glorious that would be? When, if this happens, the libs see that they have to technically vote for Trump? Idk the psychic rage might make it enough for them to do their own Jan 6. Most likely they will cry and huff and puff with no recourse of course, which would also be satisfying. God I am relishing it even now.

Edit apparently it only comes into force once enough states representing a simple majority of EC votes aka 270 sign on. Until then states allocate their votes in the usual manner. This is why you always do your research diligently lol

trump winning the popular vote but not the electoral college seems fairly unlikely, the mainstay of republican electioneering for the past two decades has been making sure people don't vote, which all the people Biden is pissing off are going to do, not actually vote for Trump

Yea basically every state would have to flip for that to happen.

A huge part of republican strategy is that they get several electoral votes for getting a dozen combined people to vote in the states with nobody in them.

Democrats would never do a Jan 6. They're way too limp and completely devoid of any resolve or actual beliefs compared to Republicans

They might show up to demonstrate but as soon as the cops tell them to fuck iff they'd all be, "yes sir, sorry sir, thank you for your service sir"

I saw a video of a guy in black bloc rip out some bricks on the corner of a street during the BLM protests and the crowd literally restrained and threw him to the cops when they tried to arrest him lmao

    General electoralism diabtribe

Do y’all ever consider how absurd it is that we haven’t started fresh and are still playing by the rules of slave-owners

Like, maybe if you believed that a black person was only 3/5ths of a person, we should possibly consider updating the program a bit.

Power structures don’t go down easy, they cling onto survival as long as they can. There’s no easy way to “start fresh” without a massive revolution and restructuring of all society, which is very difficult to achieve

Libs would find a way to wriggle out of having to actually do what they promised to do. They only care about the popular vote when it serves their interests.
