    Agreed, I like them because a massively haughty fash space empire is on the path to eventually getting destroyed by cockney mushroom football hooligans with essentially the philosophy of "dudes rock"

      Unfortunately, in most 40k stories, the role of the Orkz is just to distract the main characters from the real threat.

          Deff Skwadron was one, though admittedly I never read it. Personally, I'd like to read an ork story, the author needs to give them a sufficiently evil antagonist for them to chop up or riddle with holes, and this being 40k there isn't exactly a lack of them.
