    Not to defend white people, but at least in my area gracias is a relatively common way to say thanks regardless of anyone’s race in the situation, and I always assumed it was just a normal “words sometimes flow between languages that share an area” type of thing. Might just be white people sucking thing though idk.

      Yeah it could maybe be fine/unnoticed in the southwest or California, but you know for sure if it's some motherfucker in the upper Midwest saying it, it's because their brain wires are sparking

      I know an old lady who does not have any dementia who got a South Korean mixed up with an Indian w/ both parents from India, basically two people who could not look more unalike
