Dark mode users probably can't understand, but Reddit doesn't hurt your eyes. Something about the whole screen being black and the text being searing white sucks.
Black is always black, dimming the white around it is fine when reading, you turn down the searing brightness.
But when the text is white and you turn down the brightness so it doesn't hurt, you can't read it easily anymore.
There's a reason light mode is preferred across 90% of the internet and making this space dark mode only is shitty and excludes people from trying to switch, especially those with disabilities that dark mode does not work with.
