There will be no reason to play any game very soon that does not reward you with crypto/staking/NFT rewards. I can't even play anything standard now that I have blockchained. Steam will eventually go the way of Blackberry if it doesn't adapt.

I just got finished pissing off all my friends ranting about how gaming has been reduced to gambling and skinner boxes that reward pathological behavior with intangible treats that have no intrinsic value and how the idea of "playing for the sake of play" is regarded as nonsensical by many gamers.
