The CIA controls all media so they don't have to hide anything. The avg American isn't very literate and plus most people have other stuff to worry about, so it's unlikely they'll ever uncover what's true and what isn't.
How is the avg person supposed to figure out that Jacobin and Fox news are controlled by the same entity? Oh yeah, since Google is controlled too, and they now prioritize MSM, you can't even do proper research w/ google searches anymore. Social media is controlled. Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Reddit. All controlled. Everywhere they look, it'll look like everyone is agreeing with the US state department/CIA narrative.
Yep, there might have been a brief moment in time when they didn't fully understand or have the ability to control internet communications, but the centralization and capitalization of the system has allowed them the power to alter reality in a scale never seen before.
