      It was written by a marine so it makes sense from that perspective. You poison some wells, declare mission accomplished, and then you can get on a plane and be at Applebee's in 24 hours. Who cares about the people that have to actually live in the place you "liberated".

      The left in the US cannot exist until the state crumbles

      It isn't even possible to build a coherent opposition to war. At this point I'm on the mutual aid bandwagon again, not because it'll create anything that can progress as a challenge to capital but because it might keep more of us alive for when the time to build comes.

          (Jokes aside I do think that we're significantly more likely to see socialism in the US within our lifetime than whatever fash takeover the same people begging the US to intervene in Ukraine are worried about)
