I was one of the beta testers of this website and was one of the first users, but ya'll couldn't stop fighting with each other so I left around a year ago and honestly forgot about this website. I remembered today and thought it was a good time to make a comeback.

I'm Iraqi, I have tens of dead relatives who died in the period of 1991 to today due to American hands. My people were subjected to a horrible period of sanctions, invasion and occupation that killed over a million. Entire cities were destroyed, entire families stopped existing and entire lives were wiped away. To this day, we're called terrorists, uncivilized and savages. Seeing all this Ukraine sympathy and outpouring of support from the entire western world made me lose it yesterday and I started uncontrollably sobbing. I don't how to explain the feeling, but I felt like I was an orphan or homeless in a strange way. The world has spat in our faces and completely dehumanized us, and now today it's dancing on our corpses while convincing us that the events in Ukraine aren't miles worse than what they did to us. May God or whatever is up there forever curse these wicked American and European devils.

@LeninsRage called it ten months ago, dayum:

"The US is absolutely playing with fire in Ukraine, especially now. Ukraine being drawn in NATO is the biggest “red line” the Russians will never allow to happen, they will outright invade and occupy Ukraine before they allow that to happen. This is also why they backed Lukaschenko during the recent color revolution attempt in Belarus. We are almost certainly closer to nuclear war now than we have ever been since 1983 or 1962."

CNN is just as obnoxious as reddit rn. Saying that the Russian army is totally routed right now and that Zelensky is fighting on the front lines. Meanwhile Putin is losing control of Russia and is on the verge of a coup. The entire world is in lockstep behind the Ukrainian government which are NOT NEO NAZIS.

Russian war, day 4. Milwaukee Wisconsin.

If anyone is still out there, I’m alive but struggling. Food is running low. Down to only 459 days worth. My arms are super sore from waiving the Uranian flag and my butt is super clean from wiping it with the $oviet flag. Down to 1599 rounds of ammo (dropped 1 round down the heat vent while doing daily inventory). Power still on, but for how long? Missing human interaction but I have my dogs.. for now.. (I'm soaking their food in BBQ sauce in an attempt to marinate them from the inside in case I have to eat them) . I fear dark days ahead. News is all bad. Neighbors have attempted to leap from windows to their death, (or near death... most have single story homes so they are badly bruised). Blew through most Band of Brothers series so may have to rewatch some again..Basic Survival is a definite challenge. I vow to persevere to the end, I am a survivor! Please, if there is life out there, communicate with me to help preserve my sanity

The folks over at /r/anarchism are mass upvoting a list of "marine tactics" that includes shit like poisoning wells as you retreat. Why couldn't they be mass upvoting the news about defection in the Russian military and Russian anti war protests? What happened to "No war between nations, no peace between classes?"

There’s insane protests of cars driving around with a mix of trump, blue lives matter, anti-vax/anti-mask, and ukraine stuff all over their cars as well as tons and tons of American flags. What the fuck is wrong with people? They’re losing their god damn minds.

I speak Arabic so I'm watching Al Jazeera's coverage to avoid Anglo brainworms. An Arab Tunisian student is now being interviewed live, he's saying that Ukrainians are kicking them out from shelters and from buses that are going to Poland. He's calling the situation the worst form of racism he has ever experienced. He said that it's systemic and Ukrainian people are helping the authorities in kicking out all foreigners from shelters to the streets. Some Arab and African students are starving and their feet are bleeding from running away. Truly despicable situation

While I remain anti-Putin, fuck anyone who think Azov Nazis aren't a problem in Ukraine.

Whats the bet we get another Taliban situation where NATO arms a far-right group (although this time it's to fight another far-right group) and we end up with a Ukraine run by either NATO-backed Nazis or homophobic Russian imperials (the fault of the US meddling in Russia to begin with.)

I'm having such a rough time with this one, man. Russia is clearly the aggressor and it's awful what they're doing to the Ukrainian people, and their own people for that matter. But looking at the major american news, social media, reddit, etc is maddening. There's a post on Reddit with a fucking cat on a Ukrainian soldier's shoulder. It all just feels so weird and fake. I know there's no side worth taking, but the entire thing is just so fucking hollow. I hate every minute of this shit. Fuck man.
