This shit might dangerously soon be enough for Putin to just say "yolo". Also, insane how the entire world is quickly responding to Russia, while noone gave a shit about the US killing literally millions of people. Or the Saudis killing more innocent people right this moment than Russia is. And they will be allowed to continue to do so. It looks like the US hegemony is getting only stronger, not weaker, no matter what it does.

So what? The best outcome in Ukraine is that Russia wins and Ukraine is no longer some western puppet state. Why should I even care either way? The main bad outcome is that the weapons that the US and EU are now sending to Ukraine actually make it there and prolong the conflict for an eternity. But hopefully Russia has already considered that. Supposedly they've made a lot of progress already. Time will tell how long this goes on for.

The best outcome for Ukraine would have been it being neutral. You should care because there is a chance that the world will undergo a nuclear holocaust before Fall.

Ukraine being neutral is basically what Russia wants. But that clearly was never on the table. To me revolutionary defeatism means rooting against the largest imperial powers, not some besieged country who's presence in the world is almost entirely in opposition to actual imperialism (resource and labor extraction, war itself is not "imperialism"). I also really doubt Russia has any ill-intentions in Ukraine. At most, Russian capitalists might exert power over Ukrainian capitalists, but I doubt it would make Ukrainians worse off than they are now. At least they'll probably reduce the amount of white supremacist pro-west propaganda the average Ukrainian consumes.
