I feel like if there was anything they would spend money on it would be world ending weapons. They're still the only country with a first strike policy on record and have admitted they'll nuke China under certain circumstances like "invading" Taiwan :doomjak:
Maintaining nukes is not easy and they need pretty regular maintenance from what I understand.
