The best part about this is that the only reason it's named "Moscow Mule" is because an American bartender just picked a snazzy name they could associate with the alcohol they were using, not because it actually came from that place. Moscow Mule was invented in Manhattan by a bartender trying to offload a bunch of vodka and ginger beer from the storeroom.
:this:
Also, shouldn’t it be a Washington, D.C. Mule for parallelism?
That's too many syllables, D.C. Mule I think would be the snappy version, libs can't even get petty propaganda right.
The bartenders probably vetoed “DC Mule” so they wouldn’t have to listen to people asking them why there wasn’t a “Marvel Mule” for the duration of the war.
An "American Mule" is to be made with Tito's, or any other American-made vodka.
Source: I used to work at a bar.
I wish.
If that was the etymology then they'd have to call it a Belgrade Mule.
The funniest part is that the US is not even affected by this. In fact it’ll probably benefit from this war. Such sad virtue signaling
The tweet might predate my comment but I'm sorry nonetheless
