I have a theory on why some libs talk like this: They feel the need to comment on every important event, but if they don't know anything about geopolitics, they try to apply what they do know, which is the psychology of interpersonal relationships.

:yea: when you've got no framework for understanding whats going on (historical materialism ftw) you have to resort to what amounts to conspiracy theories. Its why libs believe in Great Man Theory and Mad Man Theory.

Comparing it to shitty imperialist propaganda cgi cashgrab slops might be less harmful than warping feminism to promote imperial war, or at least less malicious

Why is this only directed at leftist men? Why doesn't it say anything about how women would act in a relationship?

I blame NATO too, what does that say about me in relationships?

Liberals really hurt causes when they shoehorn this into things.

Men HATE it when you spend thirty years systematically undermining their sovereignty, like why would anyone be mad that we're putting missiles 15 minutes away from where you live? Huge red flag that he isn't allowing you to control him tbh.

Hmm, it's more about abusive/controlling partners rather than toxic masculinity.

The US announces that they are shipping weapons-grade gender to Ukraine.

We can do this the other way, too. Like Russia setting clear boundaries that have repeatedly been ignored.

Or the vast systemic and systematic pattern of the US's abusive behavior toward the whole world that we're being told not to acknowledge now or straight up gaslit about.

all the "leftists" talking about how starving russian workers with sanctions will definitely make Putin And The Oligarchs simmer down are REEEEEEALLY sending up red flags about how they behave in relationships. Or what they'd LIKE to be able to get away with, at any rate.
