Question from the back. What will those Neo-Nazis want in return and will they accept it from Zelenskyy's liberal government after seeing themselves as the fighters of this war since 2014?

Actions in the present don't affect the future, dumb-dumb.

Everything is a series of disconnected events.

They’ve been friends with Zelenskyy for years. He’s mentioned in the panama papers funneling money to a guy who funds Azov. My guess is they’ll keep doing what they’re doing.

This isn’t Zelenskyy making a deal with the devil, he’s been on their side for a while.

Will a Zelenskyy government even exist by the end of all this?

Once the bombs stopped falling on London, even the Brits knew when to show Churchill the door.

I'm curious to see how flimsy his hero mythology is. It's coming out of the same place that gave us ≋T≋H≋E≋ ≋G≋H≋O≋S≋T≋ ≋O≋F≋ ≋K≋Y≋I≋V≋ but all he has to do to maintain it is stay in Kyiv and not die as they besiege it over the next few days. If he makes it out of the war and promises what Britain got after Churchill, a reconstructive social democracy, I could see him retaining power or at least a continuation of his government. If he loses that mythology, it's the only thing holding him up above any other generic liberal darling. Then it's a question of his usefulness to whatever consolidation of power the post-war right can manage.

I'm curious whether he's an active target of bombardment or he's being given some space so that the Russians have someone to bargain with.

I've read a few articles about infiltrators in the city looking to assassinate him, along with US intelligence indicating an attempt when they've had mixed reliability so far. Killing him fast, or at least making him flee which would be more effective, seems like it'd be a primary objective given how little they planned for a longer war.
