in the 1930s, liberals thought Hitler would be a useful tool against the accursed Bolsheviks

This fucking trash take in the comments:

I was in Mariupol in 2015 and spoke to a couple Azov soldiers as well as locals.

What you read on Reddit about them is not the reality. Mariupol had both UA and Azov soldiers, UA soldiers caused more problems in the city on rotation because they were drunk. Azov at the time restricted alcohol consumption and they were walking around not bothering anyone. I witnessed two Azov soldiers starting shit with a local alcohol addict because he was sleeping on the street, so there is that. I talked to some Azov soldiers and honestly they were just happy that a foreigner was there knowing about them. They told me that they're not fashist in the way that they want to remove and kill Russians but want to preserve the Ukrainian heritage and culture without it getting sucked up by the bigger Russian brother.

I'm personally left as fuck but I gotta put out my truth out here. They're not all Hardcore neo Nazis who want a holocaust Nr 2.

Clicked on his profile and his posts are mostly in either a german nazbol sub, some kind of sub for growing shrooms out of moldy rice boxes (wtf), and pictures of him obsessively building and painting models of german WW2 fighter planes…

Sort of off-topic, but George Lucas unironically did a great job in portraying fascists. Fascists are simply satanists, and any attempt to "hand it to 'em" is to be tempted by satan.

Question from the back. What will those Neo-Nazis want in return and will they accept it from Zelenskyy's liberal government after seeing themselves as the fighters of this war since 2014?

Actions in the present don't affect the future, dumb-dumb.

Everything is a series of disconnected events.

They’ve been friends with Zelenskyy for years. He’s mentioned in the panama papers funneling money to a guy who funds Azov. My guess is they’ll keep doing what they’re doing.

This isn’t Zelenskyy making a deal with the devil, he’s been on their side for a while.

Will a Zelenskyy government even exist by the end of all this?

Once the bombs stopped falling on London, even the Brits knew when to show Churchill the door.

I'm curious to see how flimsy his hero mythology is. It's coming out of the same place that gave us ≋T≋H≋E≋ ≋G≋H≋O≋S≋T≋ ≋O≋F≋ ≋K≋Y≋I≋V≋ but all he has to do to maintain it is stay in Kyiv and not die as they besiege it over the next few days. If he makes it out of the war and promises what Britain got after Churchill, a reconstructive social democracy, I could see him retaining power or at least a continuation of his government. If he loses that mythology, it's the only thing holding him up above any other generic liberal darling. Then it's a question of his usefulness to whatever consolidation of power the post-war right can manage.

I'm curious whether he's an active target of bombardment or he's being given some space so that the Russians have someone to bargain with.

I've read a few articles about infiltrators in the city looking to assassinate him, along with US intelligence indicating an attempt when they've had mixed reliability so far. Killing him fast, or at least making him flee which would be more effective, seems like it'd be a primary objective given how little they planned for a longer war.

Liberals accuse "tankies" of appeasing Putin and being fash apologists then in the same sentence do this:

Someone tell libs that every fascist they team up with has a detailed plan on exactly when and how to kill them in order to seize power for themselves.

You know how Batman had a secret plan on how to neutralize every other member of the Justice League in case they went bad?

I mean, half of this is "Ghost of Kyiv" bullshit anyway.

The claim that Ukranian paramilitary squads are doing anything remotely productive in the nation's defense is just spurious wish-casting. Nevermind how cultivating White People ISIS in your backyard may have long-term negative repercussions. The theory that there's some kind of valiant defense of Ukraine going on thanks to EU Chuds lobbing moltovs hasn't born out in anything I've seen or read. The Russian armored divisions are slowly chewing through Ukrainian scenery while NATO states shovel next-gen anti-air tech over the border to keep MiGs from dominating the skies.

At best, Ukraine is going to get the Syria treatment by the time this is all over. And maybe the West will finally find an answer to all those Assad memes. But all this just sounds like Baghdad Bob tier shit, with Denazification on the horizon in the same way DeBathification was the word of the day twenty years ago.

No no no. They're just shooting civilians because Russia has made the escape routes so dangerous. Russia is making them do it.

latest official cope is "russia only allows these escape routes for strategic reasons because they lack the troops to invade the cities."
