There's this game that played as a child (and watched my older brother play) that just popped back into my head, and now it's driving me crazy trying to remember what it was called. It's a longshot, but I'm curious if any of you will be able to identify it based on the small bits I remember.

This game would have come out in the late '90s or the early aughts. It was a first person game where you went into a sort of haunted house, but less horror-y than that makes it sound. I remember there were these distinct villains you had to beat. There's only one scene I remember in any detail- you go into the haunted house's greenhouse and fall into quicksand. One of the villains appears and tells you it's actually called "snow sand" and you'll sink in it faster than you would in quicksand. Then you get out by grabbing the tail of this rat that's walking near the edge of the pit.

I know that's virtually nothing to go on, but if anyone has any idea, I would really appreciate it.
