    I mean it should be understood: this is almost definitionally what Superheroes were invented to do....or at least what they were appropriated to do not long after their invention. To be fair Siegel and Shuster orignally saw Superman as fighting against exploitation and abusive factory owners and that sort of thing but it was World War II and propaganda efforts that really cemented him and all American superheroes following him as pro American miltary propaganda and even when they pay minor lip service to critiquing the military they absolutely never stopped being that. Its one of the things that makes the Boys critique of the medium so on point.
