HOW IS THIS REAL. Hey, at least Hitler didn't kill any Germans! Because we agree with Hitler that Communist Germans weren't really Germans. And German Jews weren't Germans.

Now they are looking at victims of the Holocaust the same way that they already view victims of US imperialism in order to "own" Putin. Its going great.

    this takes me back to 2003 "saddam gassed his own people"

    as if gassing someone elses people would be a-okay (and also as if america wasnt actively and knowingly helping him as he gassed his own people)

    but its really difficult to convey now how big of a moral atrocity the his own people part was considered back then by the mainstream media and therefore the general public, far bigger than the gassing itself

    reading from a very old playbook here, and i think the sense of "atrocity against your own people" as the worst of all crimes has really stuck in western memory since then
