I voted to decharter the BDS working group, and to charge DSA’s International Committee with DSA’s BDS & Palestine solidarity work. No one has felt gleeful or triumphant in this moment. Utter garbage , how many waking up calls do people need to realize that the whole org as any comprehensive means to "advance towards socialism" is unsalvagable and eventualy a waste of time. People SHOULDNT need wake up calls for that even, the last 100 years ,even focusing on western liberal democratic frameworks, are filled with hundreds of examples of the uselessness of riding socdem/demsoc "movements" , entryism (let alone to the 2nd most antisocialist party of modern times) , trying to square with the waves of constant opportunism, liberalism ad reformist. But since the american left is "young" i'll give it the benifit of the doupt to evelove and move beyond dissorganized ,non party like messes. Yeah everything "shows promise to be the way forward" when you begin from zero and just follow where the trends are going, but its high time now to see that this approach isnt and wasnt that
