    There's been a few medical cases that back that up that involved brain injuries that very truly damaged or disabled the patient's ability to feel emotions whatsoever. The brain still worked, per se, but they weren't motivated to do anything at all, and didn't feel bad about that, either.

      obviously this isn't a judgement of people who can't feel emotion, but it does seem pretty silly to say that any desires are logical then

        Maybe not, but contempt for emotion is still an emotional response to the idea of emotion, so when some bazinga brain LARPs as Spock and calls other people illogical with the implication that that makes them inferior, that's emotionally-driven behavior.
