    How about a "realistic nuclear apocalypse and it's consequences" double feature of The Day After (1983) on the American side and Threads (1984) on the Brit's?

    And, if it's not too greedy, maybe it could even be a triple feature with the addition of When The Wind Blows (1986), just cuz it would also fit into the theme nicely. But if three's a bit too much, the first 2 above would do just fine.
