The dems are setting themselves up for the possibility of a failure of biblical proportions

Failure for who? People who vote want their treats and don't care about service workers and poor elderly people dying. There's a million ways the economy is headed for a crash, outside of a COVID wave, so why would Dems not take the "let er rip" approach? That's what the "people" (again, those who matter politically) want.
