    Me too.

    I was pretty damn sure the dems would pass something. Maybe $100 billion or whatever. And then the GOP justices would say "Sorry, you must wait. There are constitutional issues that exist," and the fuckers would eventually void ~25% of the spending because it's "unconstitutional".

    It boggles my mind that we are at zero dollars for spending. I assume it'll stay that way until a decade or so from now (or whatever) when we pay for some billionaire's climate engineering solution. Gates (or Musk or Bezos) will assure us that it is in any way disruptive, we can live & act as we always have, and his ClimageMagic solution is nearly certain to work smoothly if not flawlessly. So - of course - the world will soon be permafucked.
